Conditions & Treatment

A headache is a symptom of pain, while migraine is a specific neurological disorder with throbbing pain often on one side, nausea, light sensitivity and significant disability beyond what a regular headache causes.

An MRI is requested when there are red-flag symptoms, focal neurological signs, treatment-resistant complaints, or unusual presentations. Most common neurological conditions are diagnosed clinically without imaging.

Around 70% of patients become completely seizure-free with appropriate medication. In selected drug-resistant cases, epilepsy surgery offers a curative option.

Resting tremor of one hand, slowness of movement, stiffness, small handwriting, reduced arm swing while walking and soft monotone speech.

Most causes are benign and very treatable. However, sudden severe vertigo with neurological symptoms must be urgently evaluated to rule out stroke.

Most recovery occurs in the first 3–6 months, though improvements can continue for years with consistent rehabilitation.
